The horse comes across in its natural and free state. With a jerk of the head and a cock of an ear, he notices the viewer, and continues to trot along without the burden of a weight on it's back. Serving man in war, mobility, productivity, agriculture, development of all kinds, the horse is by far one of the largest contributor to the enhancement of our civilization. With such recognition and accomplishments, a vast and diverse trail of symbol meanings is sure to follow the horse’s rich history with humankind. Some that are seen in this sculpture are power, grace, beauty, nobility, strength and freedom. The sculpture was cast using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for perpetuation. He is mounted upon a bronze plinth and is signed J.Moigniez.
