The wolf mother and cubs can be imagined to be seen, masked by the falling snowflakes, sitting among the rocks of the entrance of their den. The mother lays exhibiting her patience as one of her offspring climbs on her back urging her to play. She follows the attentive gaze of her other cub with quiet and still awareness. The wolf stands for many symbolic attributes. Some are intelligence, cunning, communication, friendliness, loyalty, generosity, and compassion; in which they generally show within their family packs. They were cast using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish. They are mounted upon a black marble base and is signed Barye.
