The male deer comes from the forest's edge offering a series of vocalizations for the mountains to echo across the sky and lands. He seems as though he is on a mission to find a mate. His crown of tall antlers will be used to for sparring (antler wrestling) with another male to gain the rights of dominance and courtship with the desired female. His back left leg is slightly kicked backwards as if he is getting ready for anything coming his way. The deer is known for many symbolic meanings such as love, gentleness, kindness, gracefulness, sensitivity, purity of purpose, walking in the light, meditation, longevity and wealth. The handmade bronze sculpture was cast using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for perpetuation. He is mounted upon a black marble base with the European Bronze Finery stamp of quality and is signed by Artist Milo.
