Flexible and nimble on the tips of her dancers toes, this graceful belly dancer will remind you of the scandalous Mata Hari. She twirls a hoop above her head, stretching her long leg behind her and looping her toes through the center, resting them on the rim. Her delicate hands don’t grip the hoop, allowing it to glide through her palms. She wears a beaded headdress that covers her entire head and neck. Her bra and shimmy skirt are beaded as well, leaving her round belly exposed. Her skirt flows down the length of her leg with the fine detail of the sequins on it. A thick sash wraps around her curvy waist and the strings are gathered together in the front. 100% bronze and handmade, this brown patina sculpture was cast using the “Lost Wax Method” and is mounted on a round black marble base. This sculpture was signed by the artist D.H. Chiparus.
