This is a sculpture of a Cancer lady. They cancer planet is the moon and with that said carries a lot of emotion as the moon affects the ocean it also affects us as people emotionally. Cancer’s in particular however are known for their emotions, love and romance being the top priority. Cancer’s make great lovers as they are deep and romantic about their feelings. Here this Lady sits up on a rock, crabs climbing down the structure. She leans back on her hand and tilts her head up to the sky, likely daydreaming about love. Her hair is long and flows down her back with volume. Her face is intricately detailed and realistic, her expression one of contentment and happiness. Her other hand rests upon her knee as she sits on her foot. Her dress cascades down her lean form and is gathered at the thigh exposing her right leg and foot. She holds a small wreath of branches, likely to be a gift from her lover. The word Cancer in inscribed below her foot on the base of the sculpture. Handmade using the “Lost Wax Method” out of 100% bronze with a two tone brown patina. Signed L. Icart
