This amazing sculpture of a young boy riding a turtle is amazing. The details on this piece looks incredible from the turtle closed eyes to the boys joyful face. He takes a little ride down the pathway around his house, he is completely nude. The boy wraps a rope through the turtles mouth for he can have a good grip of him, to ride him better. The turtle seems very frustrated and annoyed, but since that`s his owner he has not an option. The boy enjoys bothering his pet and taking full advantage of his size before they both grow older. This sculpture is casted using the ancient "Lost Wax Method" and its handmade in 100% bronze. Mounted atop a nice black round marble base, with A. Mercie signature.
