Inventory; 71-B4942217 The noble maiden sits in a chair holding a shield and a cornucopia in the other arm. She stares out as though posing for a portrait with a majestic lion at her feet giving a combined regal air. The handmade bronze sculpture was molded using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. It is mounted upon a black marble base with the European Bronze Finery stamp of quality and the artist Milo`s signature. The artist Milo lived most of his childhood in Andalusia, Spain. Influenced by an artistic family background, he began sculpting at the age of seventeen. After apprenticing with several accomplished sculptors both in America and Spain, he began his own work focusing equally on steel and bronze. The Art of Lost Wax
